Badesee Going

Bathing lake Going: imperial swimming –
in complete safety!

50,000 m² of sunbathing lawns, 15,000 m² of water – this is by far (!) the best place to swim, play sports, have fun or simply relax!

The Goinger Badesee leisure complex, with its unrivalled panoramic view of the Kaiser Mountains close enough to touch, is the perfect spot for a short break from everyday life. An international jury named it the most beautiful natural swimming lake in Tyrol.

This man-made ‘natural lake’ owes its high water quality to the fresh spring water from the Kaiser Mountains. On the white sandy beach, with a separate children’s and non-swimmers’ bay, the water warms up to a pleasant 24 degrees.

Tyrol’s longest stainless steel outdoor water slide, along with an extra-wide wave slide, turn a swim into a great leisure experience.

Meanwhile, the little ones can really let off steam in the spacious play and leisure area with a raft, pirate ship, water features and many other attractions, whilst the grown-ups enjoy sunbathing in the crisp mountain air on the extensive sunbathing lawn with panoramic terraces or swivel double loungers.

You can burn off energy to your heart’s content and feel as though you’re on a seaside holiday at “JoeRassics Beacharena” by Goinger Badesee – the largest beach volleyball facility in western Austria, featuring four tournament-standard courts and a warm-up area. There are also plenty of other recreational options available.

There is free Wi-Fi at the lido!!! Holders of the Tyrolean Family Pass receive a 50% discount on Mondays and Thursdays.

All this makes the Going lido a unique experience for young and young-at-heart alike, to be enjoyed without a care in the world!

The Going swimming lake is open from 8.30 am to 7 pm in fine weather.
