LIENZ – THE PEARL OF THE DOLOMITES

Lienz’s spacious main square, which is reserved for pedestrians and where a sea of flowers and palm trees reflects the Mediterranean influence, is a magnet for young and old alike. The houses with their colourful façades, the street cafés and small shops exude a southern flair. Although this small town has a population of only around 12,000, you can find almost anything your heart desires here.

You’ll find boutiques selling international fashion, traditional costume shops that stand up to any comparison, specialist shops for watches and jewellery, delicatessens to satisfy every culinary taste, shoe shops with a wide range of styles, as well as small schnapps shops and wine bars.
