St. Anton am Arlberg - time out in the mountains
Lush greenery wherever you look, exhilarating moments in nature, revitalising mountain air and sweeping panoramic views that you won't find anywhere else: In June, the mountain summer awakens in St. Anton am Arlberg. The Tyrolean region with its original charm has always united sport in the mountains and passionate hosts, from the ‘cosmopolitan village’ of St. Anton along the Rosanna through the Stanzertal valley with the communities of Pettneu/Schnann, Flirsch and Strengen. The choice of routes for hiking, climbing or (e-)biking is almost limitless - more and more guests appreciate alpine combinations such as ‘Bike & Hike’.

Unlimited hiking from leisurely to high alpine
The 400-kilometre network of hiking trails in St. Anton am Arlberg opens up the Tyrolean Alps to holidaymakers for long walks in the healing mountain air. Experienced hikers can enjoy cross-border serpentines, nature lovers can marvel at the ‘burning’ slopes on the Rendl and those with a thirst for knowledge can sharpen their senses on Senn's WunderWanderWeg.
Favourite biking area for all requirements
St. Anton am Arlberg is also a popular area for bikers of all kinds outside of top-class sport. An extensive, newly signposted network of routes for e-bikes and mountain bikes (220 kilometres in total) invites you to enjoy the region. The Stanzertal cycle path between St. Anton am Arlberg and Schnann, which is asphalted throughout and offers great views, is ideal for families with small children.
Climbing at all levels of difficulty
With numerous steep rock faces, the Arlberg has many opportunities for free climbing up its sleeve. The climbing garden in the Schnanner Klamm gorge is a popular destination with around 40 routes (difficulty levels 3 to 9). Along the wild and romantic rock faces, boulderers can also try out their skills on rocks up to eight metres high. Experienced alpinists appreciate the region for its many high-alpine multi-pitch routes. The Arlberg via ferrata, for example, is considered one of the most difficult but also most beautiful in the Alps.
