Zillertal stretches 32 km from Strass to Mayrhofen, along the river Ziller, which gave the valley its name and rises from above 2000 meters. Including the four side valleys, Zillertal has an absolute length of 47 km and ends with Hintertux and its glacier, which allows skiing all year round. With approximately 1400 km of hiking trails and over 1300 km of bike trails, everyone is guaranteed to find their favorite route. The High Alps Nature Park Zillertal Alps extends over an impressive 422 km2, thus constituting 40 percent of the total area. So, whether hiking or biking, climbing or even golfing, swimming or just relaxing, you will experience unforgettable moments in the magnificent mountain scenery of Zillertal.
