Countless marked hiking trails, mountain huts connected by the well-known Gschnitztaler Hüttentour on high-altitude trails (Gschnitzer/Österr. Tribulaunhütte, Bremer Hütte, Innsbrucker Hütte, Padasterjochhaus, Blaser Hütte), rugged mountain peaks and glacier giants such as the Feuersteine shape the picture in Gschnitz.
The Wallfahrtskirchlein St. Magdalena with its unique view of the rugged and rocky mountain peaks in the surrounding area. This excursion destination can also be reached via a beautifully designed via ferrata from the valley.
The mill village Gschnitz or a hike to the Laponesalm are particularly recommended for families. The new Water Trail (Gschnitzy & Gossy - on the trail of water) and the playground also provide variety.
