Suspension bridge at Matrei-Trautson Castle

Matrei-Trautson Castle will be revitalised step by step over the next few years and made accessible to visitors. An approximately 150-metre-long suspension bridge over the Sill Gorge between Pfons and the castle is already accessible.

The suspension bridge is located on the circular path from Matrei railway station to Matrei Trautson Castle and connects the castle area with the community of Pfons. The 150-metre-long bridge leads over the Sill Gorge and offers great views to the north towards Innsbruck. It is freely accessible for walkers!
