In the summer of 2026, trail enthusiasts can look forward to a new highlight in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena: the Bike Park Zugspitze in the new Zugspitzpark am Wetterstein is set to open with three new lines.

Winter vacations in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena

Nestled in an impressive mountain backdrop, the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena offers a winter full of variety – with new attractions and popular highlights. You can actively enjoy the snow-covered countryside on 60 kilometres of well-maintained winter hiking trails and around 120 kilometres of cross-country skiing trails. Here, genuine Tyrolean hospitality, relaxation close to nature and unforgettable winter moments come together – more than just a holiday.

A special highlight for winter sports enthusiasts is the Top Snow Card, a cross-border ski pass for Tyrol and Bavaria that offers unlimited skiing fun. From December 2025, the new Obere Karbahn II in Berwang will provide greater comfort and longer descents, as the mountain station will be around 140 metres higher in future.
