Surrounded by the imposing mountain scenery of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Lauchernalp ski area is well served by a cable car, two chairlifts, a gondola lift, a ski lift and a conveyor belt and lies between 1400 and 3100 metres above sea level, offering you almost 40 km of attractive and wide pistes of all levels of difficulty. Lauchernalp is also home to Europe's highest winter hiking trail and snowshoe trail at over 3000 metres above sea level, with views of over forty 4000-metre peaks in the Alps.

The Lötschental is an Eldorado for ski tours and freeriders.

For cross-country skiers and winter hikers, the Lötschental offers more than 35 kilometres of winter hiking trails and snowshoe trails and 9 kilometres of classic and skating trails.
