The Aillons-Margériaz resort is located in the commune of Aillon-le-Jeune at an altitude of 1000 m, in the heart of the Massif des Bauges Regional Nature Park. Its geographical position makes it one of the closest resorts to the major conurbations (30 minutes from Chambéry / 45 minutes from Aix les Bains and Annecy). With its typically Savoyard and ‘Bauju’ character, Les Aillons-Margériaz has everything you could wish for: beautiful scenery, entertainment for the little ones, events for the grown-ups, the warmth of the villagers, skiing in the heart of protected areas...

You'll be impressed by the panoramic views of the surrounding peaks: Trélod, Arcalod, Arclusaz, Chartreuse, the peaks of the Belledonne Massif and Mont Blanc!

In winter, the resort of Les Aillons-Margériaz offers its visitors skiing that is accessible to all (beginners or experienced skiers), with 2 ski areas (Aillons-Margériaz 1000 and 1400), a dog-sleigh course and a multitude of snowshoe itineraries. Accommodation is available in flats, chalets, B&Bs, group accommodation and holiday villages.

Winter also means plenty of entertainment and torch-lit descents during the school holidays, as well as gourmet events (the Gliss'Gourmande) and sporting events (La Fée Blanche snow trail).
Taste our local cheeses, including the famous ‘Tome des Bauges’, an exceptional PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) cheese that has won several medals. The local know-how is well worth the diversions!

A summer in Les Aillons-Margériaz is synonymous with festivities and summer activities (tyroliennes for adults and children, via ferrata, downhill mountain biking, cani rando (hiking with the help of a dog), cave-trekking, horse-riding, discovery pool and much more!)
