Skiområde Watles

The ski area situated in the Alta Val Venosta area is part of the Sesvenna range, where Italy, Austria and Switzerland meet: due to its superb location and excellent condition of the runs, it is a favourite for all ages. The sun- kissed area is famous for its breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and captivate not only fans of skiing and snowboarding, but also nature lovers. The wide ranging offers dedicated to both beginners and experts, the off-piste descent through the freshly fallen snow, and brand new ski cross track will entice all snow sports enthusiasts.

Two large lifts and baby lift provide a comfortable ascent without waiting time and the "Bubo Kinderpark" ski school, with carousel in the snow, igloo, magic carpets and heated indoor roooms with staff, guarantee a holiday full of adventure for kids. In addition, starting this winter is the faschinating snow wonderland, a must for children.

Besides the marvelous ski pistes, the skiing area of Watles also offers a separate itinerary for winter excursions dedicated to alpine skiing and snow shoe trekking enthusiasts, which begins from the valley terminal and, through the woodland, away from the pistes, leads you to the summit of Watles (2,550m over sea level). A 4 km long toboggan run completes the wide variety of activities. Beautiful days in the snow come to a plwasant conclusion in one of the two chalets: Plantapatsch, directly at the mountain station with a terrace for sunbathing and a unique panoramic view, and Höfer, situated in a clearing along the descent.
