A short ride on the ski bus brings together what belongs together. Walmendingerhorn, Ifen and Heuberg form a white alliance in the Oberstdorf Kleinwalsertal cross-border ski area.

You can easily reach the Walmendingerhorn and its slopes for leisure skiers via valley lifts and ski trails. Known as the ‘Mountain of the Senses’, the ski resort delights visitors with its unspoilt slopes and a panoramic view across three countries.

The Heuberg, with its beginner-friendly slopes, is proving once again this winter to be a favourite with families with children.

The Ifen has been transformed into a very high-quality ski resort and now boasts the 10-seater gondola lifts Ifen I and Ifen II. For the first time, these are the most modern lifts from Doppelmayr (D-Line), offering guests the quietest ride with wider seats and Wi-Fi, as well as protection from wind and weather at all times. Previously, the T-bar lift had already been replaced by the new Olympiabahn, and a new snow-making system had been installed. The complete refurbishment of the ski resort has made the Ifen a “premium ski resort for families”.

In total, the Walmendingerhorn/Ifen/Heuberg ski area offers 62 kilometres of groomed slopes, providing a wonderfully varied skiing experience particularly for leisure skiers, families with children and beginners. Experienced and ambitious skiers will also find plenty to enjoy. Those looking for a real challenge will find exactly what they’re after on the black runs in the Ifen area.

The Heuberg, with its geographically perfect location in the heart of the Kleinwalsertal, offers the perfect introduction to skiing fun as a ski resort right on the hotel’s doorstep. From here, you can reach the Ifen directly via the Parsennbahn and a 5-minute shuttle bus ride from the Fuchsfarm.

Among the special highlights away from the ski slopes in the Walmendingerhorn/Ifen/Heuberg area are the large sun terrace and the glass-walled panoramic lift on the Walmendingerhorn, as well as the hike through the snow dunes across the Gottesacker on the Ifen.

The mountain restaurant “Tafel & Zunder” invites you to stop for a bite to eat and treats guests to organic specialities in a tasteful setting. A culinary highlight at the top station of the new Ifen cable cars, created as part of the ski area renovations.
