The Hutterer Höss ski area in Hinterstoder includes 40 kilometers of pistes for all ability levels, 14 lifts between 600 m and 2,000 m above sea level, a Sunny Kids Park and a snow park. The ski area in Hinterstoder boasts another highlight with the World Cup course in Hinterstoder, which was named after the downhill world champion Hannes Trinkl, who came from the region. A length of 3,500 meters, a maximum gradient of 60 percent and a width of up to 80 meters not only represents a challenge for athletes in international skiing, but also gives amateur athletes that World Cup feeling. The enchanting winter landscape of Hinterstoder and the cozy huts invite you to rest, relax and enjoy.

In summer, the World Cup ski area in Hinterstoder presents itself as a true hiking paradise. With the cable car, the new 10-seater gondola lift and the Höss Express, it takes you up to 1,800m above sea level in no time at all, where the view of the Dead Mountains with one of the most beautiful mountain formations in the country - Spitzmauer, Großer and Kleiner Priel - is once again impressive. Some of the 14 newly created circular hiking trails in the Hinterstoderer RundWanderWelt also lead to the Höss in Hinterstoder.

Whether on the cozy village promenade in the valley of Hinterstoder, on the extensive Stodertal panorama tour at medium altitude or on the Höss Alpin tour in rocky terrain - the 14 trails of the RundWanderWelt Hinterstoder offer a varied hiking experience. You can also catch magnificent all-round views from the two viewing platforms Dachsteinblick and Stoderblick.

But that's not all. With the Running & Walking Arena Hinterstoder, which offers four individual running routes, the family-friendly outdoor pool, the two tennis courts as well as the tennis hall and the mini golf course, further active fun is on the program in Hinterstoder. Airy heights can be climbed on the Poppenberg via ferrata. It leads to one of the most beautiful panoramic mountains in the Stodertal. In winter, trendy snowshoe hikes, dreamy horse-drawn sleigh rides, hearty tobogganing or curling as well as extensive cross-country skiing or ski tours await in Hinterstoder.
