A warm welcome to the Willingen ski resort!

The Willingen ski resort, nestled in the heart of Germany’s low mountain ranges and situated right in the Sauerland, offers winter sports fun across some 17 kilometres of slopes. The resort’s runs are divided into 8 kilometres of blue runs and 9 kilometres of red runs. Eleven kilometres of the runs can be artificially snowed to guarantee the best possible snow conditions. The longest run is 2 kilometres long, making it the longest run in the Sauerland!

A total of 15 lifts take winter sports enthusiasts from the valley stations up to the slopes of the ski resort. The youngest visitors can take their first attempts on skis and snowboards in the ski schools’ children’s parks. They are well supported by ski carousels, conveyor belts and, of course, the teams from the local ski schools. Along the ski slopes, rustic huts invite you to linger.

Die Liftgemeinschaft Köhlerhagen nimmt in dieser Skisaison erstmals zusätzlich die Piste „Köhlerhagen 2“ mit in die technische Beschneiung. „Der schmale Steilhang am Köhlerhagen ist bislang ein Gefahrenpunkt. Dem können wir nur so entgegenwirken, indem wir auch die zweite dazu laufende Piste öffnen und beschneien. Für die Gäste ergibt sich neben der Sicherheit eine weitere attraktive Abfahrtsvariante,“ verweist K1-Geschäftsführer Jörg Wilke auf die Investition.
