The ride to Heidialp starts in the spa town of Bad Ragaz and leads through the village and across the Rhine to Maienfeld. Here you ride exclusively on paved roads or simple gravel paths. In Maienfeld, you ride through the winding, romantic alleys to the higher-lying hamlet of Rofels. Not far from Rofels is the Heidi village, which is visited annually by thousands of guests. From here the second larger ascent begins to Heidialp. With the e-mountain bike you still arrive relaxed at the stage destination.
The return ride leads over a rather steep but safe gravel path to Jenins, also a beautiful village in the Bündner Herrschaft region. From Jenins you return to the Alpine Rhine and follow it downstream back to Bad Ragaz.
