Nussdorf am Attersee

Even as early as 1908 Nußdorf am Attersee in the Salzkammergut was referred to as a “charming resort“. It is not surprising therefore that one of the first summer visitors was Baron Eugen von Ransonnet. He was so taken with the resort that he built a villa with a large park directly on the shore of Lake Attersee. Also the founding of the Yacht Club Attersee was one of his projects.

But now to the present.
Nußdorf am Attersee attracts year for year guests of all ages, sportsmen and gourmets – there is something here for everyone.

At the waterside there are great opportunities for sailing, surfing, water-skiing, bathing, diving and much more. For the water-shy there is a great landscape to explore, gentle walks on green hills, in the forests or on one of our theme walks such as the Baron Eugen von Ransonnet walk and the wild wood walk on the theme of wood. Bikers and mountain bikers are repeatedly inspired by the great variety of routes. For those who wish to improve their personal golf handicap, this is possible at one of the local scenic golf courses.
For gourmets, the restaurants of the GeNUSSdorf are a top tip and for the night revellers there are a number of bars waiting to be discovered and enjoyed.

Culture should also be part of a holiday and we invite you to our weekly band concerts at the music pavilion, jazz evenings in July and August, also literature events and exhibitions.
