Close to nature with an urban character

Maria Rain offers an above-average quality of life. That is why more and more people are deciding to settle in this beautiful place on the Sattnitz slope in the middle of nature and yet close to Klagenfurt.

Although the declaration of the community as a "residential community" is often associated with the negative term "dormitory community", the trend towards a suburban community without village life cannot be seen in the many club activities. Maria Rain is more convincing because the new residents are also disproportionately involved in local life. This is also proof of the high level of satisfaction of the population.

Maria Rain is located about 8 km from the state capital Klagenfurt am Wörthersee. Visible from afar, the double-towered pilgrimage church remains in the memory of every visitor. The sight was so captivating for many that the community was given the honor of being immortalized on the 20 Schilling banknote of 1956.
