Horitschon

Horitschon is a typical wine town in the region Mittelburgenland, more precisely in the heart of the so-called "Blaufränkischland" .

Due to the pleasant climate with mild winters, a rather dry summer and a warm autumn the Blaufränkisch, which is an traditional Austrian grape, flourishes excellently and gives the region its name.

Horitschon is well-known due to its festivities surrounding the wine year, for example the Wine-Opening festival at Pentecost.
