Davos is the ideal starting point to discover the unspoilt nature in the side valleys of Flüela, Dischma and Sertig or the Walser villages of Monstein and Wiesen. Schatzalp, also known as the "Magic Mountain ’, lies on a sunny terrace directly above Davos at 1,861 metres above sea level. The mountain was made world-famous in the novel ‘The Magic Mountain’ (1924) by the famous German writer and Nobel Prize winner Thomas Mann.

In summer, all guests can use the Davos Klosters Mountains, Klosters Madrisa and Schatzalp mountain railways at low cost with the # "Davos Klosters Premium Card ’. Guests from Davos travel free of charge on the local bus and on the Rhaetian Railway between Davos Laret and Davos Glaris.
Guests from Klosters and Saas enjoy free travel on the Klosters fare network and on the Saas - Davos Platz route with the RhB. With the ‘Davos Klosters Active’ guest programme, the destination offers 700 experiences, some free of charge and some for a small fee.
