Forum Ski Resort Heiligenblut / Grossglockner

Hi,

We are just back from a week skiing In Heiligenblut. We had a great time.
We have 3 children, 2 where half price and the 3rd child could ski for just 10 euro per day!

The slopes were in pretty good condition taking into account that it was sunny whole day and temperatures in the afternoon reached up to 13 degrees in the village. Even after 6 days of sun for 10 hours a day and temperatures up to 12 degrees the slopes were still great in the morning and fallbichl was even in the afternoon in fine condition. While Fleissalm in the afternoon became Somewhat sluggy it was still enjoyable.

What we really liked is that we did not have to wait for the lift, even in the morning we did have to stand in line for the lift.
We liked the 3 areas which had different conditions due to different direction towards the sun.

1 day we decided to try out skiing at Mölltaler Gletscher, but our children preferred the area at Heilighenblut because it has less wind, no waiting lines, more friendly and beautiful environment with areas with trees and the view on the Großglockner, and more traditional restaurants.

The people operating the area were nice and even opened the lifts a few minutes early.
Thanks for a great week and the preparation of the slopes in difficult weather conditions due to high temperatures and less snowfall than average.
