Pitztal in Winter could just as well be known as the valley of skiing. It is home to more than 40 glaciers with a total area of around 35km² . The valley run from the Pitztal Glacier to Mittelberg via Taschachferner is a special experience that gives you a feeling of endless freedom. Away from the slopes, you'll see a different side of winter: winter hikes, snowshoe tours, cross-country skiing on valley and high-altitude trails, sleigh rides and ice climbing.

Location
Set in the midst of the picture-postcard countryside of Tyrol's Pitztal Valley, at the foot of the breathtaking Pitztal Glacier, we are a holidaymakers' paradise for the whole family. Our hotel was named after the glittering, emerald-coloured mountain lake, which lies high above the Pitztal Valley.

Stay with us and you'll be just a step or two away from the mountain lifts. A few minutes are all you need to be whisked up to skiing and hiking heaven in the Inner-Pitztal where the natural world is at its most beautiful. All around our hotel, perfect sports and leisure activities for young and old make for varied, relaxing and entertaining vacations.

To enable you to plan your vacation even more flexibly, we will be a Hotel *** Garni (breakfast only)

In the morning we spoil you with delicacies from the Tyrolean mountains from our breakfast buffet.

Our drinks and food vending machine provides you with cold drinks and savory items such as sausage, cheese, bread and sweets around the clock. A drinks fridge is also available in the hotel lobby.

To end the day with culinary delights, you can choose from a variety of restaurants, bistros, huts and hotel restaurants thanks to the central location of our hotel. Table reservation in our partner hotel for evening menu is possible on a daily basis!

Wellness, relaxation and regeneration at the Hotel Garni Rifflsee

We offer to our guests a wellness area of about 100m² with Finnish sauna, brine steam bath with color change, a special infrared heat cabin with automatic seat recognition and activation of the spotlights, as soon as the guest has taken place and a relax room, framed with meditation music.
