Welcome to the Natur- and Alpinhotel Post in the mountaineering village Vent in the Ötztal valley!
The Natur- and Alpinhotel is a family-owned hotel with long tradition, offering an inviting ambience with genuine hospitality. The host family is very passionate about the surrounding mountains; for them, every day is a new mountain experiences.
Hotel Post in Vent is located at 1,900 m, offering the ideal starting point for varied excursions into the Tyrolean mountains. In winter, Vent transforms into a magical winter wonderland, offering numerous possibilities for active guests. From Alpine to cross-country skiing, winter walking and ski touring, a winter holiday at the Natur- and Alpinhotel Post in Vent will exceed all your expectations.
During a stay at the hotel you enjoy a range of inclusive services such as guided snowshoe hikes, free snowshoe hire, free shuttle to the Ötztal ski region and the use of the hotel-owned ski room with ski-boot dryer. Two mountain huts in the region, the Similaun mountain hut at 3,019 m and the Hochjoch-Hospiz at 2,413 m, are run by members of the host family. Visit these mountain huts during your stay at the hotel and enjoy the typical Tyrolean hospitality.
Vent is a celebrated little mountaineering village, located at the valley end and thus traffic free. This allows you to enjoy the wonderful natural scenery in complete peace. At the Natur- and Alpinhotel’s sauna village we invite you to relax body and mind; here you find a Finnish sauna, a Swiss stone pine sauna, a steam bath and a relax area with tea bar. What’s more: the kitchen team of the Natur- and Alpinhotel Post will pamper you with regional delicacies from morning until evening, in front of the spectacular backdrop of the surrounding mountains. Overall, you are in for a feast for all senses.

The rates are per person and day with a minimum stay of three nights.
The rates do not include the local tax of 3.50 euro per day and person (above the age of 16).
The rates for the family suite and the Hotel Post family suite are valid with a minimum occupancy of four persons.
Upon request you can take your dog with you (extra charge of 20.00 euro per day without food). We hope you understand that dogs are not allowed in our restaurant and dining hall.

Cancellation policy
The general cancellation conditions of the Austrian Hotelier Association apply at our hotel:

Cancellations and changes made up to 30 days before the date of arrival are free of charge.
Cancellations made 29 to 14 days before the date of arrival will be charged 50% of the total price.
Cancellations made 13 to 7 days before the date of arrival will be charged 70% of the total price.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the date of arrival, late arrival, no show, or early departure will be charged in full.
