Starting point: Afritz, Seepark
Route description: Start at the southeastern shore of Lake Afritz – past the campsites – from the toll, forestry road up to Wieseralm – then right down the Mirnockriesen-Trail T19 (caution steep) – down to Erlach – continue right to Lake Afritz (Tauchhammer farm entrance dog pension please walk your bike).

A single trail, very demanding (S2-3) – very steep sections, sometimes loose, rocky ground alternating with root passages, caution when wet!

e-MTB suitable only up to Wieseralm. Trail not suitable for e-bikes!

Follow the asphalt road towards the campsites/lake path, at the Campingplatz Bodner turn left towards Kohlweißhütte/Wieseralm up to the toll station (km 1.27). Always follow the main gravel road to km 8.23 to the Orter Hüttn, here turn right. Continue towards Kohlweißhütte and at the fork at km 9.98 turn right again.
At km 10.22 you reach the Kohlweißhütte, directly below the hut begins trail no. 183. Attention: trail section, extremely steep and very difficult to ride! Follow hiking trail no. 183 to the Gasthaus Hubmannhof. Continue right on the asphalt road to the fork at km 13.9, descend to the left, after 100 m immediately turn right again and through the Tauchhammer farm entrance (please walk your bike)!
Descend the gravel road until you reach Lake Afritz at km 14.5. Here turn left over the wooden footbridge and along the lake promenade to Afritz. Continue along the road and at the first intersection turn right back to the starting point.

Basic skills
An appropriate riding technique and a basic level of fitness are essential for comfortable and safe riding. When braking, it is especially important to use only one finger, to distribute the braking force correctly, and to adjust the basic riding position.
The bike used
Must be adapted to the trail conditions and well maintained. A freeride or downhill bike is best suited. Tip: protective gear and bikes can be rented or purchased at rental stations.
Mountain bike Fair Play rules for an orderly coexistence
1. Stay only on marked and signposted nock/bike trails
2. The use of nock/bike trails is only permitted at the contractually fixed periods from May 1 – August 31 from 9:00 am – 7:00 pm and from September 1 – October 31 from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm at your own risk
3. No riding at dusk to protect wildlife
4. Observe nock/bike maps and route descriptions
5. Priority for hikers over mountain bikers, "shared trail"
6. Forest roads are operational areas and workplaces. Therefore, expect work machines, wood or potholes on the road, pasture livestock and motor vehicle traffic
7. Pay special attention to motor vehicles and traffic regulations
8. Ride at half sight with controlled speed; if sudden and unexpected obstacles occur, get off the bike and push it past the obstacle
9. In the forest, camping, staying overnight in the dark, making fires, disturbing wildlife or entering forest crops under 3 m tree height is legally prohibited
10. Always close pasture gates and doors and be careful of forestry work and grazing animals
11. Consideration for a clean environment and noise reduction
12. First aid in case of accidents is mandatory, first aid kit, emergency numbers
13. Ongoing sports equipment checks by professionals, riding with helmet and gloves, etc.
14. Get riding technique tips for increased safety and fun from professionals – nock/bike competence center
15. Also communicate Fair Play rules to raise awareness
