The Zillertal 3000 Ski and Glacier World is without doubt a ski region of superlatives. With just one ski pass you can use 66 ultramodern lifts and cable cars in 5 ski resorts and explore 202 kilometres of ski slopes. Insiders recommend the glacier circuit from the Penkenjoch-Finkenberg via the Rastkogel ski area to the Eggalm and on to the Hintertux Glacier with a difference in elevation of 15,000 metres and 60 downhill kilometres in one day. The artificially snow-covered downhill runs to Tux-Vorderlanersbach, Tux-Lanersbach and Hintertux complete what’s on offer!

The holiday region of Tux-Finkenberg also has lots of off-piste attractions such as a total of 28 km of well groomed cross-country ski trails and the natural ice skating rink with ice stock lanes. Three flood-lit natural toboggan runs with quaint refreshment huts give you the chance to enjoy meeting others on your holiday. Feel the energy of the fresh clear winter air on a leisurely stroll through the snow-covered winter landscape on 68 km of cleared winter hiking trails and leave behind your everyday life with every step you take - this is another of the joys of winter in Tux-Finkenberg.
Gourmet World in the mountains

Where, if not on a winter holiday at a ski hut with a magnificent mountain panorama, does a Kaiserschmarren shredded pancake taste best? Enjoy the day and treat your taste buds as you relax on a lounger on the terrace of one of the 30 ski huts and restaurants in the ski resorts of the Zillertal 3000 Ski and Glacier World! You’ll find just the hut you want here, from "rustic and genuine" to "stylish and trendy". And after lots of fun in the snow on the glacier, you can enjoy the après-ski and party the night away in one of the bars! A varied programme of events is to be found in the Tux Center and you can admire the acrobatic performances of the local ski schools at one of their ski shows. The Nightliner will also transport all the party animals safe and sound between Hintertux and Finkenberg throughout the night.

Ready, steady, go! Winter is the perfect time for a family holiday in the Tuxertal valley. Pepis Kinderland on the Penkenjoch is the ideal place for beginners to enjoy having their first go on skis. Pepis Kinderklub with professional supervision at the Granatalm with climbing wall, hockey table, Lego Soft and a playground with slides rounds off what’s on offer. All 5 children's ski schools offer courses for all ages and ability levels. The Eggalm Kinderpark with ski carousel, magic carpet, baby lift and snowtubing provides plenty of fun in the snow. It’s off with Luis the Glacier Flea to the Kids Funslope and Funslope in Hintertux. The course comprises two big tunnels made of snow, a wave course and Luis the Glacier Flea, of course. And a further highlight is provided by the Playarena, an outstanding indoor play area measuring 1,000 m². And there’s also a great entertainment programme for kids and tiny tots, with all sorts of fun and games. No chance of boredom - variety and family fun in Tux-Finkenberg!
