Mineralienmuseum Teis

The Mineral Museum is located in the centre of Tiso/Teis in the Villnöss valley. In spring 2020 the museum has been rebuilt and extended. It has been designed according to modern aspects of museum education and offers a staggering as well as informative exhibition. Besides the famous Geodes of Teis, the exhibition also features minerals from other Alpine
regions visited by Paul Fischnaller in order to expand his collection.

An introductory film provides even non-experts with a comprehensive overview of the origin and nature of the minerals displayed in the museum. Every single one of the exhibits was found by Paul Fischnaller and none of them were bought or traded. The exhibition is constantly being enhanced with
new, interesting pieces by Paul Fischnaller.

Tue–Fri: 10 am–12 noon / 2 pm–4 pm
Sat–Sun: 2 pm–5 pm
