The church was built around 1400 to commemorate the theft of a host.

All the richness of late medieval church furnishings can still be found in the cemetery church of St. Anne. The church was built around 1400 in memory of a host theft on the spot where the Blessed Sacrament was found. The nave with net-rib vaulting adjoins the small choir, in the essential part of which there is an organ gallery with a rich tracery parapet. A special feature of St. Anna's Church is its extremely high-quality and uniform stained-glass window decoration, which adorns the three choir windows.

From the Gothic furnishings, a winged altar under a stone canopy (with representations of the finding of the host), the Anna Selbdritt group in the center of the Baroque high altar and numerous frescoes are still preserved. In 1972 and 1974 the interior and the exterior of the church were renovated. In the following years the church received new bells.

The cemetery church can be visited all year round.
