Luftenberg an der Donau

In the municipality there are many possibilities for leisure activities. In addition to sports facilities (golf course, two tennis courts, soccer, stick tracks, running, judo, etc.), our community also offers a great variety of recreational activities. This ranges from hiking (Donau-Höhenwanderweg) and cycling (Donau-Radwanderweg) to golf, horseback riding, bowling, stick and archery, as well as swimming and water skiing in the charmingly located Hohenlohe-Au-See.

Fishing enthusiasts indulge in their hobby on the Danube and its tributaries. The area around the Danube power plant Abwinden has become a popular recreation area for young and old. Comfortable inns with idyllic guest gardens provide for the physical well-being. In addition, more and more cultural and social activities are offered by numerous festivals and various events of the approximately 40 associations.
