Our Hotel and the farm Messnerwirt are located in the middle of the South Tyrolean Valley of Anterselva surrounded by the mighty Vedrette di Ries and the Dolomites (Kronplatz).

Enjoy holidays

You start your eventfully day with the original farmer breakfast; consisting of different grained variants of bread, aromatic alp butter, homemade yoghurts, self made herb tees, fruity juice and marmalade…… to the point of fresh ambrosial coffee.

Weary from hiking in the Dolomites ? Weary from marvelling and experience? Than relax in our ”feel good oasis” with Finnish sauna, steam bath; whirlpool, solarium and different massages.

Within the bon vivant half- board we serve you exquisitely 4- 5 course menu, prepared with natural products from our farm, flavoured and garnished with creativity and fantasy!
Of course we offer you as well vegetarian dishes or special diets. Every evening you find a colourful salad buffet.

At night you sleep well in our cosy arranged rooms (all with balcony)…. until the next morning a new eventfully day is waiting for you.

The Messnerwirt is your base camp for any activities in the unique nature: hiking, climbing, biking, golf and much more ore just simply relax.
We still have a piece of the original South Tyrol, you find a wide range of promenades, trails, bike baths, the picturesque glaciers of the Vedrette di Ries; the idyllic lake Antholz and the upper lake.

Especially the kids are enthusiastic to experience the farmer’s everyday life they like to feed the animals, to make hay and everything surrounding.
Weekly we take you to our “Grenten”alp, where we show you how we produce fresh alp cheese and butter.
