Panoramic views of the city

The Philosopher's Path is famous - once upon a time, scholars walked here in stiff frock coats and let their thoughts wander while walking.

On this climate island, which is one of the warmest places in Germany, numerous exotics thrive: Japanese woolly mistletoe and American cypress, Spanish broom and Portuguese cherry, lemon and pomegranate, bamboo, palm trees and pines.

From the Philosopher's Path, the Serpentine Path winds its way down countless steps and coarse cobblestones to the Old Bridge, another landmark of the old residential city turned to stone.
