Schihütte und Wanderhütte Hauser Kaibling

Location
The hiking hut is located at the top of the Hauser Kaibling at 1,850 m above sea level and offers a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. It is easily accessible via a short walk and can accommodate six people.

Furnishing
On the ground floor of the hiking hut there is an anteroom, cloakroom, bathroom and toilet as well as a cozy room with dining and living area (sofa bed). Heating and hot water preparation are generally electrical.
The attic of the hiking hut has been converted into a bedroom for four people. The western loft is accessible to customers and is used to store transport containers and also contains blankets for people who are sensitive to the cold.
The sports equipment is stored in the farm building next to the hiking hut and up to five pairs of shoes are dried in a box with a built-in hiking boot dryer.
There is also enough firewood for the cozy fireplace in the living room.
You will also find two garbage containers for the waste generated.

Getting there
There are two ways to get to the hiking hut in summer: With the recommended option 1, you first take the 8-seater gondola to the middle of the mountain and then take the Quattralpina chairlift to the Kaibling. With variant 2 (which only makes sense in exceptional cases) you use the Tauern cable car for the entire ascent.

food
If you don't always want to cater for yourself in the hiking hut, enjoy the culinary offerings of the Krummholzhütte and Berggasthof. You can reach both restaurants on foot in a short time.

Prices and services
In addition to the use of the holiday cabin, the rental price per day/night includes water, electricity, towels, bed linen, table linen and kitchen linen for a maximum of six people during the booking period. The price also includes so-called “basic foods” in the form of coffee, coffee filters, black tea, fruit tea, sugar, salt, pepper, stock cubes, vinegar and oil. Of course, there is always enough toilet paper and kitchen rolls.
