Christophorushütte - Ebensee

The Christophorushut in summer is a unique and special place for moutain and nature lovers. We are at 1600 meter altitute above the lake traunsee on a very sunny peak with a beautiful mountain landscape. About 50 kilometer of different trails and a lot of summits invite you to go hiking. There are trails for children to very sportive trails, via ferrata or a paragliding start place, so everyone can enjoy the nature up the feuerkogel.

We have space for 48 people dividet out in different kind of rooms. 4 double rooms, 3 fourbed rooms and a big dorm room for 28 people. From the rooms and the sun terrace you can enjoy a beautiful mountain view.

you can also rent the hut for your private celebration or holdiay. we are happy to host a celebration for you. Just message us your questions.

You can´t go by car to our hut, but with the Feuerkogel Cablecar. There is a free parking lot at the Cablecar station. It takes you only 7 Minutes up the mountain to our hut. The cablecar runs from 8.20 to 6pm every 20 minutes.

For the sportive people is a beautiful hike from ebensee or the cable car valley station. About 3 hours to hike and 1200 of altitude. You have to be in a good shape, bring water and hiking boots as well.
