Wanna Feel Free? Come to Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis!
Real freedom is something you can probably only experience in a sea of powder or in an oasis of obstacles. That´s why Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis has taken up the cause of Feel Free. Be it Freestyle Circus or Fun Area, park-shredders get the chance to cavort until their boards start to glow. But not only Freestyle, also Freeride has a huge priority in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. On 11 routes, ultimate freedom seekers can show what they´re made of – true to the motto “Feel Free”! And the park setup? We took the liberty of providing you with new obstacles!
Every season, the Fun Area Fiss-Ladis offers new and action-packed challenges. Located north of the Schöngampbahn, the park’s remarkable range of different obstacles is designed more forintermediate to beginner level and allows for inexperienced riders to easily reach a higher skill level.
If you still can’t get enough, the 187 km of ski runs and the vast backcountry will give you everything a snowboarder or freeskier could wish for.
But this stuff is just a nice gimmick compared to what riders actually get attracted by. It´s time for park-action! If you´re looking for great kickers, you´ll be in good hands at the Freestyle Circus, because here you´ll find giants with tables up to 18m! Furthermore, a bunch of boxes and rails provide a Feel Free feeling for all jibbers among you. If there are not enough beginner and medium obstacles for you, the Fun Area will be the right place for you! Various butter-boxes, boxes, rails and special obstacles offer ideal conditions to start your freestyle career or to enhance your skills! No worries: you´ll also find beasty kicker to spend some airtime. And as if that wouldn´t be enough, we´ll give the Funslope a brand-new look! 3 new kickers and 2 new corners clearly focus on more airtime. Last but not least we´ll provide you with a special obstacle, which will cause a stir: a giant 10m Snail.
The routes for freeriders don´t have anything to do with a snail´s pace! Experienced and pro riders can master the powder on 11 different routes. Pure action, for instance, is guaranteeing the Kamikaze route, where you have to force a decline of 70%! On the Schleifenplattenroute, you will be riding even steeper towards the valley! We can only feel free with the right amount of adrenaline in our veins. How about you?
A weekly returning event in sun-blessed Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis will take place at the Möseralm, where you can see exceptionally gifted jumpers performing their best tricks. Every Tuesday, you´ll get the chance to imitate them at the Feel Free Days. At this public photo shoot everyone can proof his skills. Selected shots will be uploaded to our Facebook page, the community will vote for the best shot and, in the same week, the winner will get a goodie from one of the participating shops.

Freeriding in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis – Kamikaze into the powder ocean
As a freerider you get assailed with adrenaline and endophines when you dive into the unprecedented ocean of powder in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. The backcountry gets even more attractive this winter! We´re adding a new route, which makes it 11 routes in total, where you can surf in accustomed elegant manner through deep snow.
Ride the 11 seas of powder
A proper drop in altitude difference is as essential for riding the backcountry as the literal snow on the mountains. To make sure that freeriders can focus on their supreme discipline instead of spending their time hiking, all our routes can be reached through a lift.
Also via the lift you get to the newest sensation of the skiing resort! As of this year, the challenging route with the appropriate name Skyline can be found right beneath the Schöngampbahn. Feel Free time starts when you arrive at the top and take a look at the breathtaking panorama. It´ll just be a short rest though, because you´ll ticking to dive into the 2km of deep snow floods lying in front of you.
In addition to this new addition, experienced riders can still cruise the 10 well-tried routes. Accomplished riders looking for a longer route can have their way on the Adlerroute, Old Sattel or Powder Nose. Experience a drop of about 400 metres, each over a length of 1,7 to 2 km. Similarly long, but way more ambitious is the Kamikaze route where you ride down the snow waves on a gradient of 70%. A real jewel for advanced riders can be found on the Pezidroute, because here you can prove you´re capable of manoeuvring yourself through the powder. On just 650 metres you´ll have a drop of over 300 metres in altitude.
Freeride Bases instead of Baywatch
In case of emergency there´s only one life belt on the mountain – a constant peeping-sound from under an avalanche and an alpine rescue service who´s locating the signal. Therefore it is very important to bring your safety-equipment like an avalanche transceiver as well as a helmet. Additionally, Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ensures safely on a very modern and high level. At the Freeride Bases, backcountry addicts can double check their transceiver and plan which route they want to ride. Moreover, you can find some* information about difficulty level* and characteristics of the lines.
