A ski school for children needs a lot of specialist's know-how and experience! Our specially trained, multilingual and highly qualified instructors are looking forward to ensure a lot of fun and enjoyment for your children – with eventful winter programs and in playful ways.

Our youngest guests are learning in a pleasant atmosphere, with a lot of fun and happiness in our restricted children's area, just next to our ski school!

For advanced children's groups our ski and snowboard instructors provide help to optimize the kid's skiing techniques.

Group lessons take place with a minimum of 5 participants.

Groups will be arranged according to the proficiency of the children, with max 10-12 children per group to provide most efficient learning success.

Our highlight for our kids is the weekly final race, taking place always on friday, where we establish the final winner. Because we strongly believe that everyone who learns is a winner - a medal will be offered to each child.

Our course times for the winter's Season 2023/2024:
Mo. - Fr. from 09:45 a.m.-11:45 a.m. and 01:15 p.m.-03:15 p.m.
For those staying just a few days and not up to the whole week, we do offer half-week courses or the attendance on just single days.

Please arrive with your children at least 10 minutes before the start of the course to our ski school.

The quickest route to success

By choosing this method of instruction, the ski instructor will be able to fully and exclusively focus on your child, transmitting more directly all the knowledge needed to learn this wonderful sport. The ski instructor recognizes the knowledge and skiing level of your child, chooses the adequate ski slope, tempo and exercises, and leads your child to success - in a playful way.

Private lessons also give you the opportunity of flexible time management.

We do offer private lessons daily - each hour at any time of the day. We recommend you to always book private lessons beforehand, to make sure you can consume the lesson at the time you wish to!

Customized ski learning

With your personal ski instructor at your exclusive disposal we offer you the possibility of a highly intense learning.

Whether you are skiing or snowboarding for the first time, refreshing your knowledge or wish to improve your already advanced techniques - under the proficient expert direction of our ski instructors you will have the most efficient possibility for it during a private lesson.

The benefits speak for themselves: quick and safe learning results, flexible and individual teaching framework and your personal ski instructor who will focus exclusively on you and the improvement of your techniques.

Since we teach children with different methods, like games and motivating exercises and less explaining, we do ask you to book adults' private lessons separately from children's.

Various levels of difficulty – ski tours for beginners (no deep – snow experience required) to demanding tours for very fit and experienced ski mountaineers – we will find the suitable solution for you.

Our hikes are led exclusively by certified ski- and mountains guides!

Freeriding is a style of snowboarding or skiing performed on natural, un-groomed terrain, without a set course, goals or rules.

Freeriding incorporates various aspects of snowboarding into a style that adapts to the variations and challenges of natural, off-piste terrain, and eschews man-made features such as jumps, rails, half-pipes, or groomed snow.

Our highly qualified instructors will indeed show you an entirely new feeling of movement, and a very special feeling of adventure and freedom.

Your safety is our number one priority!
While freeriding you are beyond the marked runs, so your guide will make sure beforehand, that you will become familiar with necessary security measures, such as proper behaviour on the mountain, avalanche protection, avalanche transceiver equipment and companion rescue.

Regardless of each free freerider’s ability, Kreischberg is perfect for everyone!

The most experienced hiking-guides of Richis` Ski School & Outdoor Center offer daily snowshoeing tours.

Routes and destinations are depending on the current weather- and snow conditions, the time frame and route will be decided by us in consultation and coordination with our guests.

Under the expert instruction of our guides, you will learn the technique of movement in deep snow with today’s snow shoes – an ancient technique, which requires no previous knowledge and which can be learned by everyone.

Listen to the marvelous tranquility amidst the magnificently wintery landscape and enjoy a breathtaking and unique view of light and snow.

Practice makes perfect!

Richard Wirnsberger – the owner of Richi’s Skischool – looks back on a 30-years-long experience as ski instructor, as well as on a long way back on national and international experience as a skiing guide. In a competent and responsive way, he aims at spreading the enthusiasm for the joys of winter sports!

Furthermore he is a mountain rescuer at the Murau Mountain Rescue Service.

Richard Wirnsberger organizes ski training camps for children and adults, both in summer and in winter.

With much knowledge and skills he helps you to refine your skiing techniques, offers you power training as well as endurance training, teaches you finest racing technology and with help of video analyses improves your technical expertise.
