The classic ski area with 102 km of pistes and 30 km of sledging runs at the foot of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The impressive mountain panorama - some say it's the most beautiful thing in the world - intensifies the impressive experience.

The ski area is also home to the world-famous Lauberhorn downhill. This extends from the Wixi chairlift summit station about 4.2 km down to the Innerwengen chairlift valley station.

The ski area is accessible from both Grindelwald and Wengen with the cog railway (Wengernalp Railway) or with a cable car (Grindelwald-Männlichen aerial gondola or Wengen-Männlichen aerial cableway respectively).

“First View” Vantage Platform
Anyone standing on First View will immediately feel like they are on top of the world. The vantage platform is enthroned at the top of the First peak and offers a unique all-round view of the Bernese Alps. A short walk leads from the First mountain station to the slightly higher metal building in the shape of a windmill. After the entrance, each of the seven “rotor blades”, which are offset in height, focuses on a particular section of the Alpine ring: from the highest peaks of the Bernese Oberland to the world-famous Eiger North Face and the skiing and hiking mountains around Grindelwald. Various seating options invite you to linger and marvel. Those in search of a little thrill will find it next door on the First Cliff Walk by Tissot or on the two Flying Fox variants, the First Flyer and First Glider.
