A warm welcome to our cosy, rustic mountain refuge. Visit us up here at 1,358 metres above sea level and let us spoil you with our excellent Bavarian cuisine. You can find us directly under the Arber gondola lift, located in the idyllic Bavarian Forest.

Snuggle up and enjoy the warmth of our rustic fire as the snow falls gently on the windows outside. A hearty soup or a tasty roast pork dish will revitalise you for your next winter adventure. A glass elevator from the gondola lift mountain station makes us easily accessible by wheelchair. The panoramic lift makes it easy for all guests to reach us on the highest mountain in the Bavarian Forest.

On the first floor of our cosy refuge, you will find beautiful rooms with typical lodge character. Don’t miss the chance to set up camp directly by the slopes - just enter the number of rooms you need and your holiday dates into our booking tool.

After a refreshing night of sleep in one of our rustic rooms, a sumptuous Bavarian breakfast awaits in our refuge’s rustic dining room - the perfect way to gather your strength for your next snowy adventure. Just pick up your pleasantly warmed shoes from our ski depot, recently fitted with the newest drying technology, and head for the freshly prepared slopes!

We offer 12 modern rooms with a classic Bavarian lodge feeling for your perfect stay. Our Arber Refuge can house a total of 41 guests. All our rooms include a shower and WC.

We have three twin rooms, a triple room and eight quadruple rooms. The double rooms can also be booked for single use. Solo travellers and families are equally welcome!
