Hotel Lucia

The hotel was built in 1973 and has been lovingly renovated in recent years. Since sustainability is very
sustainability is very important to us, we have subjected the entire hotel to a thermal building renovation in 2011.

*Wellness
In autumn 2018, we renovated our sauna area. In addition to the Finnish sauna and the PhysioTherm infrared cabin, we also offer a steam bath, brine bath and hamam for relaxation. Cool off with fresh ice from our ice fountain. The south-facing relaxation room lets you gaze into the beautiful mountain world. The sauna area is open daily free of charge.

The ski area!
In the Damüls ski area, together with the linked Mellau ski area, you have 29 lifts at your disposal. The Damüls - Mellau ski area offers 105 kilometres of pistes. From family downhill runs to the black ski route, the whole range of downhill possibilities of a modern winter sports area is available several times over. A huge open-air area for deep-snow fans or off-piste freaks are further cornerstones of the Damüls - Mellau - Faschina snow area. A super offer for all snowboard fans is Alton's Burton Snowpark in the Damüls snow area. Park area 60,000 m².
The ski slope can be reached either on foot (approx. 350m) or with the free local bus (bus stop approx. 30m). From the ski slope you can ski right up to our hotel.
Further facilities include a room with lockable ski locker with integrated boot dryer. A separate drying room is also available for ski and motorbike clothing.

The rooms:
Relax in one of our individually and creatively designed rooms, equipped with shower, WC, satellite TV, hairdryer, make-up mirror and safe. Pre-warmed towels and care products are provided for you in the bathroom. Enjoy the unique panorama of the surrounding mountains.

*Culinary delights
End the day with a cosy dinner followed by a nightcap at the bar. We offer a choice of two 4-course menus with regional products (meat and vegetarian). Get your energy back at the rich salad buffet. Vegan cuisine or special dietary requirements can only be catered for, if necessary, with clarification prior to your arrival.

*Do you know summer in Damüls?
In summer, the location of our 3*** superior hotel makes it an ideal starting point for hikes, motorbike tours and for cyclists. As the Hotel Lucia is also a member of BergAktiv, as a guest you have the opportunity to take part in a guided day or half-day hike almost every day. The guided botanical hike on the flower trail in Faschina is particularly recommended.

The activities in the region are free of charge with the Bregenzerwaldcard (from 3 nights) with swimming pools, public transport, cable cars, which can all be used free of charge, as well as the forest ropes course, museums, Wäderbähnle, Lake Constance boat trip and much more with discounts.
