One of the most beautiful cross-country areas in Bavaria, right in the Chiemgau. Whether classic or Skating, from Reit im Winkl to Ruhpolding and to the Austrian neighbor in Tyrol, the Kaiserwinkl, you will find well groomed tracks totally free of costs! All cross-country skiers, experts and beginners will delight in this spacious trail network at the beautiful, pristine mountain scenery. Snowsafe Nordic tracks can be found at 1100 meters at the Winklmoosalm and the Hemmersuppenalm.

Cross Country skiing facts:

• 49 km classic cross-country trails and 39 km of skating trails in the valley
• 32 km classic cross-country trails and 28 km of skating trails on the Winklmoosalm and Hemmersuppenalm (high trails)
